Indoor Pickleball Chain Dill Dinkers Signs Deal for 20 New Locations in New Jersey, New York
The booming Dill Dinkers chain has locked in a big deal to bring indoor pickleball to 20 locations across North Jersey and New York’s Hudson Valley. These new spots add to their existing five locations in Maryland and Virginia.
This sport mixes tennis, badminton, and table tennis into one fun-filled game. New Jersey’s love for it shows in the pop-up of new venues across Sussex County, Ocean County, and Moorestown. “Everyone is talking about pickleball, and we saw a clear opportunity to fill a need for indoor clubs in a region with extreme weather conditions,” said Adam Fiala.
Since rolling out nationwide franchising last September, they’ve nailed down deals for 375 locations. The chain’s quick expansion covers multiple states, with heavy interest in Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. Leading the Northeast growth are the Fiala siblings; Adam, Janine, and Michael. They’ll oversee club openings throughout Bergen, Rockland, and Westchester counties, bringing year-round play to these areas.
Dill Dinkers kicked off in 2022 when Will and Denise Richards opened their first club in Columbia, Maryland. They’d seen how players needed indoor options when the weather turned nasty. The venues come loaded, offering court rentals, lessons, competitive leagues, and room for special events. Team-ups with Court Reserve, JOOLA, and pros like Collin Johns keep things running smoothly.
Their big plans aim for 30 open locations by late 2025, with 500 more in the works. This quick growth matches the sport’s exploding popularity across the country. Ben Litalien, who runs development, gave props to the Fialas’ blend of business know-how and commitment to creating community spaces. The trio brings solid experience from past family businesses.
By taking the game inside, these clubs protect players from rough weather. This smart move lets fans play through cold winters and hot summers without skipping a day.
