Aaron Rodgers vs. Jimmy Kimmel Sets Internet on Fire Over Feud
Jimmy Kimmel attends the world premiere of Netflix's "Your Place Or Mine" at Regency Village Theatre on February 02, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
2024 is off to a wild start as ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel has threatened legal action on New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers over comments he made linking the late night host to the client list of deceased sex offender Jeffery Epstein.
Rodgers who has not played since week 1 this year after tearing his Achilles Tendon, made his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show and dropped the nugget that melted down the Internet.
The comments came as Rodgers was bantering back and forth with McAfee and ex-Packers teammate Clay Matthews over conspiracy theories, namely the Super Bowl logo, which in recent years has displayed the colors of the actual teams that would get to the Big Game.
“This got something to do with the Epstein list?” Matthews asked.
“Hey that’s supposed to be coming out soon. There are lot of people including Jimmy Kimmel who are really hoping that doesn’t come out…” Rodgers said before McAfee jumped in.
Kimmel responded on X calling Rodgers a “soft-brained wacko,” adding that the quarterback’s comments put his family in “danger.”
According to the New York Post, Kimmel and Rodgers have had a beef against one another since 2021 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when Kimmel criticized the quarterback over testing positive for COVID, and his vaccination status. Since that time the two have routinely harpooned the other.
On Wednesday, McAfee tried to put a tarp on the firestorm by saying he understood where Kimmel was coming from, but believed Rodgers was only joking.
ESPN and ABC has declined to comment on the situation.
The Jets season ends on Sunday in New England. Rodgers, even though he is on the active roster will not play. Kimmel hosts the Oscars March 10 for the second consecutive year.

Welcome to winter! Check out these 7 Must Haves For Your Winter Activities to help you ease through the season, whether you’re trying to keep warm or have a little snow day fun.
I grew up in New England, Rhode Island to be specific, so I’ve endured many frosty winters. As I get older, I like the cold less and less but when I was a kid there was nothing better in life to me than sledding. My dad would take me to our favorite hill on the other side of town, local golf courses and even the beach. Anywhere I could pick up a little speed. I mean, I really loved sledding. This list does, of course, include a few items to get you down an incline rapidly, but also some to keep you warm and some other fun winter activities.
I tried to stick to easy items you can keep on hand for when the forecast calls for when the thermometer dips below 32. There are literally days I want to cry because I hate the cold so much (I wish this was an exaggeration) but I love being outside, so I endure the layers and goggles and boots. A couple of the pieces on this Must Have list will help with keeping you (and me) cozy even in the coldest of temperatures. And some of the other things will make getting all bundled up a little more fun while you’re out there.
Please note that items are in stock and prices are accurate at the time we published this list. Have an idea for a fun theme for a gift idea list you’d like us to create? Drop us a line at shopping@bbgi.com.
