Adam Devine Makes It Hilariously Clear He Is Not Adam Levine
Adam Devine is poking fun at the one-letter difference between his name and Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine. The Pitch Perfect star took to Instagram recently to capitalize on Levine’s alleged cheating scandal with Instagram model Sumner Stroh (which Levine previously reported, multiple women have come out after Sumner Stroh’s TikTok video accusing Levine of sliding into their DMs and sharing his flirty messages. Levine and Prinsloo have been married since 2014 and have children Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4. They are expecting their third child.
As for Devine’s musical chops, he starred in the Pitch Perfect movie series, singing covers of songs like Rihanna’s “Please Don’t Stop The Music,” Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and Pat Benatar’s “We Belong.” For his audition for the role, Devine told James Corden during a 2019 late-night appearance that he sang “All of Me.” He joked that he thought Pitch Perfect was a baseball movie. “I showed up and there was all these handsome dudes there and they’re not stretching,” Devine told the host as fellow guest Kieran Culkin cackles. “I go in the audition room and they were like, ‘What song did you prepare?’ and I go, ‘I didn’t prepare a song, take it or leave it.’ And they’re like, ‘Okay, get out of here,’ and I’m like, ‘I’ve prepared a song.'”
Pulling from the “deep, wrinkly parts of the back brain,” Devine sang in a raspy voice Full House‘s famous theme song “Everywhere You Look.” Watch below:
