Thousands of Dollars Found Buried Under New Jersey Home
A man working on his home in Wildwood recently uncovered thousands of dollars in bills from 1934 according to NJ.com.
Rich Gilson, the owner of the home, was working on home improvement projects when he found what he thought were clumps of weeds buried in the sand under his house.
After tossing them aside, the rain started to wash away the grime when he noticed they were fabric rolls of some kind tied with rubber bands.
Gilson found very tightly rolled money from 1934, totaling $1,000, in the first roll. He is preserving the second, which could potentially contain another $1,000.
He isn’t concerned with finding more money or cashing out. What would you do if you found that much money in your house?!
