Tom Brady is Coming Out of Retirement
We all should have known it was too good to be true.
According to ESPN, Tom Brady has announced that he is coming out of retirement and will return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 season.
These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG pic.twitter.com/U0yhRKVKVm

The news comes the day before free agency begins in the NFL. The Buccaneers were rumored to be one of the teams interested in controversial Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was cleared of criminal chargers for sexual assault.
Instead the Bucs will run it back with the seven-time Super Bowl champion in Brady, who showed no signs of age last season, tossing for more than 5,000 and 43 touchdowns. Brady is also just a year removed from leading the Bucs to a Super Bowl title.
