Toms River to Welcome Back Halloween Parade
After getting shutdown a year ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Toms River Halloween Parade is set to mark its return on October 30 (rain date, November 1) .
“The Toms River Fire Company No.1 are happy to announce that the Toms River Halloween Parade is a go for 2021 and is scheduled for Saturday, October 30th,” stated the announcement on the township website.
The event began in 1937, and, according to the Guinness Book of World Records is the world’s second largest municipal-held Halloween event.
The parade will begin at the Toms River Shopping Centre at the corner of Highland Parkway and Rt. 166/Main St., and ends at the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Ave.
