It's been a long time since we last saw the Byrdes in the shocking cliffhanger season finale of Ozark season 3 on Netflix. But the wait will be over in a few months. Sort of.

Netflix announced today that season 4 will be released in two parts, each with seven episodes. The first part will be released on January 21; they haven't yet announced when the second part will drop. They have announced that this will be the final season of the show, so it makes sense that they are splitting it up, giving them two dates to promote the series around.

Check out Netflix's "first look" at the season below (the scene seems to take place minutes after the wild ending of season 3) and the date announcement video.

Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
