Yes, it didn't count. It was a preseason game, but Rutgers men's basketball is back baby! And boy does it feel good.
The Scarlet Knights took care of Fairfield 78-65 in a warm-up for the season opener November 7 against Columbia at Jersey's Mike's Arena.
Junior center Clifford Omoruyi led the way with a game-high 19 points and shot 8-13 from the field. Omoruyi collected nine rebounds and blocked two shots.
Paul Mulcahy had seven points on 2-of-4 shooting. Junior Mawot Mag had 15 points on 6-15 shooting, while Aundre Hyatt contributed 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
