It’s not too often that the New York Jets enjoy big nights in February — in fact, almost never. But last night was an exception.

On the night Sauce Gardner was named Defensive Rookie of the Year, and wide receiver Garrett Wilson was named Offensive Rookie of the Year, former Jets Darrelle Revis and Joe Klecko were named to the NFL’s Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

Klecko played for the for 11 seasons — most prominently — in the 1980s where he was a key member of the famed New York Sack Exchange. For years, Klecko had been left off final ballots for the Hall, and finally got his well earned call to Canton as one of the NFL’s senior inductees.

Meanwhile, Revis enters the Hall on his first year of eligibility. The man who coined the phrase Revis Island for his ability to shut down some of the game’s best receivers, had 29 interceptions and 832 tackles in his career.

While Jets fans can celebrate the past, the future looks bright as well with Gardner and Wilson both getting recognized for standout rookie seasons.

What were they saying? Let’s look back to last night:
