Thursday night was not a good night to be the New York Knicks.

Not only did the Knicks blow a 12-point fourth quarter lead, and lose in overtime to the Dallas Mavericks, but All Star forward Luka Doncic had one of those career nights that people will talk about for years, and will likely be a late entry into Top 10 lists everywhere for 2022.

Doncic powered the Mavs all the way back, even when it looked like New York was on it's way to victory with a career and franchise-setting night: 60-points, 21 boards and 10 assists.

He accounted for 10 of the Mavericks 15-points in the final minute of regulation, including nailing the game tying jumper as time expired to send the two teams into overtime, tied at 115.

Doncic added seven more points in overtime including a five from the charity stripe to push Dallas to a 126-121 victory.

Fans reacted big time to the effort.
