DALY CITY, CALIFORNIA - MAY 12: A sign is posted in the exterior of a Krispy Kreme doughnut store on May 12, 2022 in Daly City, California. Krispy Kreme reported strong first quarter earnings with net income of $4 million compared with a loss of $3.06 million one year ago.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating 2023 graduates with a free dozen of Original Glazed donuts in a specialty box today (May 24). Both high school and college graduates will be honored. In order to claim your free Original Glazed dozen in a box called a “dough-ploma” you have to wear attire that says “Class of 2023.” Graduates can also wear graduation caps and gowns, shirts or jackets to get the free donuts.

Krispy Kreme’s “dough-ploma” has become a tradition for the eatery as it is the fourth year the donut chain has celebrated grads with a free dozen.

“We started this during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we haven’t forgotten that the lives of this year’s graduates were heavily impacted by the pandemic. We are thrilled to celebrate their perseverance and spirit the best way we know how: free Original Glazed doughnuts,” Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a statement.
