The Jets spent a better part of their Tuesday in Mr. Rodgers neighborhood.

A contingent of Jets brass made their way to California to meet Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the first time since Green Bay granted New York permission on Monday to speak to him. By Wednesday morning reports were that Johnson and the Jets had returned to New Jersey after 11 hours in California. There is no word at this moment as to how this meeting went down.

Rodgers still has to make up his own mind. Either he stays in Green Bay another year, his 19th of his career, retires, or joins the Jets. There is also the chance that Rodgers tells Green Bay to trade him to another team. Although right now it feels like the Jets are in a one-team race.

Rodgers is owed $60 million in guaranteed money, money that the Packers want to get away from, and money another team would likely want restructured. Will Rodgers accept the deal to the Jets? We will find out soon enough. Before hand take a look at the wild, crazy takes from Jets fans over the past 16 or 17 hours.
