It was all smiles through the raindrops at SHI Stadium as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights completed spring practice with the annual Scarlet-White game. Team Scarlet won, by the way, 21-19.

Quarterback Gavin Wimsatt completed 10 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown pass to Max Patterson. Quarterback Evan Smith had nine completions and a rushing touchdown in the first half.

Running back Aaron Young had 77-yards on 16 carries; while on the flipside linebacker Timmy Hinspeter had a game high eight tackles.

The regular season begins in September.

Special Olympian Fernando Santana scored a touchdown to close out the Scarlet-White game on Saturday.

Super Bowl Champ leads NFL Stars

Super Bowl champion Michael Burton (formally Kansas City Chiefs) was one of several former NFL players on hand signing autographs.
