The inexplicable has indeed happened in the eyes of New Yorkers and those in Northern Jersey. The Empire State Building switched to colors of green and white to commemorate the Philadelphia Eagles trip to Super Bowl LVII.

Yep that's the Empire State Building in green and white. It's not for the Jets, who didn't make the playoffs. And we are about a month and a half away from St. Patrick's Day. So obviously this ruffled plenty of feathers (pun intended) in social media circles.
