If you haven’t heard of Caitlin Clark before Friday, you certainly have now.

The Junior guard for Iowa’s women’s basketball team put together one of the greatest performances in women’s collegiate hoops, and one of the best efforts by a basketball player this year (men and women combined) when she dropped 41-points in a stunning 77-73 win over previously unbeaten South Carolina in the Women’s Final Four on Friday night.

She also became the first woman with back-to-back 40-point games in college basketball.

The Gamecocks were 36-0 going into the game before Clark single-handedly ended their season with game of a lifetime.

Now she leads the Hawkeyes to the championship game on Sunday night.

As a result, her fame has shot up on social media on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
