ARMY 20 - NAVY 17 - 2OT

It wasn't the prettiest of games, but it certainly ended memorably as Army defeated Navy 20-17 in the first ever overtime in the 123-year history of the rivalry.

For 60 minutes neither team could muster much offense in a game that was a 10-10 slog heading into overtime. Then the fireworks began.

On the first place of the first overtime, Army' Markel Johnson busted through the line scrimmage for a 25-yard touchdown to put Army up 17-10.

Navy, who hadn't completed a pass all afternoon, finally hit one Xavier Arline connected with a wide open Marquel Haywood for a 25-yard score, knotting the game up at 17.

In the second overtime, Navy was on the doorstep of taking the lead until Anton Hall Jr. fumbled the football at the one-yard line. Army recovered in a scrum that seemed to last for several minutes.

Army only needed to run the ball a handful of times before setting up a game-winning field goal by Quinn Maretzki to send Army to its fifth win in the last seven match-ups between the rival military academies.

The Padgentry Oozes with Epicness

Army Blocked Punt for a Touchdown

This blocked punt was the first touchdown of regulation, and was the main reason we went to overtime.

Anton Hall Jr. to the House

Before he fumbled in overtime, Anton Hall's biggest moment of the game came on this huge touchdown run.
