About 20 years ago, she started a family tradition of taping a construction paper tree in her kitchen and as one of them completed a kindness act, ornaments were taped to the tree. The focus was to celebrate kindness and giving and receiving. She discusses why she wanted to keep the meaning of the season alive, what types of kind acts did her family participate in doing and new technological kindness acts that can be done during the season of giving.
