It's never easy to select from all of the great stories we receive, which is an amazing sign that there are so many great teachers in New Jersey! Give us all the details on who should be inducted into the Class of 2026 of Magic 98.3's "Teachers Who Make Magic."
Let us know about a teacher or ESP in your life, then on Fridays starting January 16th, we will announce new members of this year's class of "Teachers Who Make Magic."
Selected teachers will be invited to our annual banquet this Spring where they'll receive recognition among their peers, as well as an award to display in their classroom.
What is the Teachers Who Make Magic Awards program?
The Teachers Who Make Magic program will recognize up to 12 outstanding teachers to receive this prestigious award for their important contribution to society. These teachers become lifetime members of the Teachers Who Make Magic Class.
In addition to recognizing outstanding teachers, we'll also recognize 4 Educational Support Professionals in our community. Educational Support Professionals or ESP’s take care of our children every day and make sure they have the tools and resources to succeed in our schools and classrooms. ESP’s include paraprofessionals, secretaries, bus drivers, food service workers, custodial/maintenance workers, and security personnel.

Who is eligible?
Nominated teachers must be full-time classroom teachers at a public or non-public school in Central Jersey. For the 2025-2026 school year, teachers must spend the majority of their assignment time teaching students in grades Pre-K – 8, and 9-12.
How can a teacher be considered for a Teachers Who Makes Magic award?
In order to be considered for a Teachers Who Make Magic Award, a teacher must first be nominated by a superintendent, principal, or co-worker. A teacher may not nominate himself or herself. The nominating committee will not accept nominations from students. Nominations may be submitted on the FOX Sports Radio New Jersey website. Please type your submission in the 3rd person. If you use an abbreviation for something in your story that's inclusive to your school, please elaborate in a sentence as to what it is, or what the initials stand for. The nomination period will be from December 22, 2025 through March 31, 2026.
What do the WINNERS receive?
Winners will be announced on air each Friday morning, starting on January 16, 2026. They will be invited to a banquet and will receive an award and gift bag.
