But, with the furniture being over 60 years old, Holsten's said it was no longer structurally sound. The diner expressed concern for the safety of future customers. After a brief run on eBay, and just under 340 total bids, the infamous series finale prop sold for $82,600. Fans had one last opportunity to visit the booth on March 2nd, 2024. Sporting a sharper look, the new furniture does not sway too far from the old designs. While the new booth might not carry the "aura" of James Gandolfini, the restaurant kept the same jukebox at the table. Holsten's said they would be making an announcement regarding the sale of Tony's booth later in the day. In the meantime, fans, the egg creams are still good and the onion rings are still the best in the state, as far as Tony Soprano is concerned. https://www.facebook.com/HolstensIceCreamParlor/posts/pfbid0vMMCe7kw1SfQZANpnscUb6KK54CCMiKBQo9cHPVwwSJpLDczaChBjGAbbNLaQrxFl
