An elevated rip current risk for coastal visitors.
We are in communication with our Jersey Central Power & Light partners and will be working with them throughout the weekend to monitor the power grid and prioritize any significant outage issues. In addition, we’ll be coordinating our deployment and support efforts with the Morris County Communication's Center, Morris County Sheriff’s Office and the Morris County Fire Mutual Aid Coordinator’s MACs for any mutual aid requests.
Please monitor local forecasts throughout the weekend, avoid flooded roadways, and secure loose outdoor items before winds increase on Sunday.
Stay safe, stay informed.
