First, Coach Schiano is recruiting as all head coaches do year-round and you have players going in and out of the Portal, and you have signings galore.
Then came spring training and practices, where the elder players on the team meet and work out with the new players, so that the Family as the team is known, can jell as it progresses toward the first game of the season on August 31st at home.
Teams in Division 1 NCAA football like to give the fans a chance to meet and greet the players, and coaches, and on Saturday, April 27th at 3 pm, the Team will hit the field at SHI Stadium for the annual Scarlet-White Game.
What Is The Scarlet-White Game?
It will not be a full-on game; it is more of a way for players to be highlighted, and for plays to be run to see how they work on the field, for the first time in front of people.
But that is not all that happening, it is Rutger day around the campus, and around the football stadium, so there will be the Boardwalk atmosphere, as if it were a real game with games, food trucks and a whole lot more.
You do not want to miss it, hope to see you there on Saturday, April 27th from 1-5pm for the Scarlet -White Game
