Fantasy Football League: Week 2 The Good The Bad and The Downright Ugly
Week two in fantasy football has come and gone and I have to say we had a really good upswing from week one, but we still lost by five points. I made two big mistakes and that was putting Brain Robinson (28 points) and Marquise Brown (17 points) on my bench. I trusted the Jets Breece Hall and he let me down That being said I saw some really good suggestions from you. That led me to make several lineup changes.
First of all, I dropped my benched player Michael Gallup. I took Richard from South Amboy’s advice when he said that Puka Nacua put up the most points in his debut game, he may become a breakout star among WRs. Well Richard I understood about half of what you said there, but it sounds good to me! Luckily I was first on the waiver order, which also means I’m considered the worst team in the league! But I grabbed him.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to grab Tyler Allgerier or Jordan Love who was on my radar, but I did drop Van Jefferson for Romeo Doubs who also disappointed me so I’m at a loss there. Now when I’m down on points I can call out “Oh Romeo oh Romeo where art thou Romeo” cause honestly I can’t find the value of him now. Don’t get me wrong I liked Jefferson, but he let me down so I let him go. Jerick Mckinnon, also said goodbye in place of Joshua Kelley, I am giving him a chance only if Eckler continues to be out.
As for the chopping block, Dalvin Cook has got to go, cause despite being “On the back burner” Breece Hall put up more points and looked great. So who should I grab in terms of RB or WR? In Week 1 Darren Waller and Cole Kmet both did okay. However, Imma need more drive and power from them if they want to stay. Waller had an excuse because of the weather conditions that hindered his and the Giants‘ performance.
Now that we’ve gone through the bad, let’s end on a positive note. PUKA NACUA knocked it out of the park once again! For his rookie year, he’s doing great and I expect he will continue to rack up points. Though with Cooper Kupp returning in Week 5 should I trade Puka while the getting is good? Also, CeeDee Lamb showed me why he is amazing, I just wish either of them had gotten a touchdown. Despite the tragedy that is the Giants Waller put up respectable points.
So heading into week 3 are there any sneaky picks I can do ahead of week 3? Let me know by emailing [email protected]! Or enter your advice below!
