Somerset Patriots Release Action Packed 2024 Schedule
We might be in the midst of the 2023 season, and there is still a second consecutive Double-A Eastern League title to be won, but the Somerset Patriots unveiled their 2024 schedule, Thursday.
Getting Creative
Give the Patriots credit for getting creative with their schedule release. A number of players are seen trying to do their best illustration of the Patriots Double-A opponents. Let’s just say they didn’t exactly come close….really, but a valiant attempt.

The 2024 season will begin April 5 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. It will be the squirrels first trip to TD Bank Ballpark since 2021. What a way to open the season against a fairly unknown opponent in the San Francisco Giants Double-A squad.
Portland SeaDogs:
The Boston Red Sox Double-A affiliate will make two trips to TD Bank Ballpark this year. They will meet May 14 through the 19, and July 23-28.
A Philly Fourth of July:
The Patriots will see a lot of the Reading Fight’n Phils during the 4th of July. The two rivals will meet July 1-3 at TD Bank Ballpark, before continuing the series July 4-6 in Reading.
Meet the Mets:
The New York Mets Double-A affiliate made two trips to TD Bank Ballpark this season, Mets fans wanting to come out to TD Ballpark won’t be so lucky in 2024. The Patriots and Binghamton Rumble Ponies will meet once at TD Bank from August 6 through the 11.
The Patriots head to Binghamton twice next year. They’ll face the Rumble Ponies in late June, and in the next-to-last week of the season in September.
The season concludes September 10 through the 15 at TD Bank Ballpark against the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Which Yankees prospects will we see? Will we see Spencer Jones, the new top prospect in the Yankees organization? What about more Drew Thorpe?
