Mark Ingram to Join Fox Sports as Analyst
Former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL running back Mark Ingram will join Fox Sports on “Big Noon Saturday” beginning in the fall the network announced Thursday.
Ingram played at Alabama and was the first player in the program to win a Heisman back in 2009. He was a huge part of helping Alabama become a powerhouse again. In that season he ran for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He had 32 receptions for 334 yards and three touchdowns and helped lead Alabama to a national title. Over his three seasons with the Crimson Tide, he rushed for 3,261 yards and 42 touchdowns.
He was drafted into the NFL in 2011, he was the 29th pick by the New Orleans Saints. He only started three games but played in 10 of them.
That year he rushed for 233 yards and a touchdown. He played 12 seasons in the NFL, 10 of them with the Saints. He is the Saints’ all-time leading rusher with 6,500 yards and leads the franchise in rushing touchdowns with 52.
The three-time pro bowler had a career total of 8,111 rushing yards and 65 rushing touchdowns. He caught 303 passes for 2,125 yards and 10 touchdowns. The other two teams he played for were the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans. With the Saints, he became a pro bowler in 2014 and 2017. He was also a pro bowler in 2019 when he was with the Ravens.
