Salma Hayek is sharing a beauty hack for those who are lazy about keeping up with those pesky gray hairs. While appearing on Good Morning America yesterday (June 14), Hayek, 56, revealed her quick fix to make her grays disappear instantly.

Lazy Dye Fix

The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress was asked about a recent Instagram post she shared last week. She joked about "waking up and counting how many white hairs and wrinkles have crashed the party this morning." She told the GMA hosts, “You don’t see the white hair right now because I put mascara [on] because I'm too lazy to dye my hair.” Hayek then told the audience how she applies mascara to her lashes and the hairs surrounding her face.

Host Rebecca Jarvis chimed in, “I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’ve done the same thing.” Teasing the other host, George Stephanopoulos, Hayek says, "It’s my trick. George [Stephanopoulos], you should try it one day."

Comfortable In Her Own Skin

Back in 2020, the Frida star told People that she has come a long way from when she used to be too hard on herself. "I used to criticize myself so much,” she said in "The Beautiful Issue." "Now, when I look in the mirror, and there are things that I don’t see, I think about how much I’m going to like me in 10 years.” Hayek appreciates those makeup-free moments now. “Normally, when you don’t [wear makeup], it’s because you’re in a situation where you don’t feel the pressure to look your best,” she explained. “There’s a sense of just being present without needing to impress anyone.”

Salma will next be seen in the new season of Black Mirror, which premieres today on Netflix. In her episode, titled "Joan Is Awful," a young woman played by Schitt's Creek star Annie Murphy turns on the TV to discover Hayek starring in a show about her life. Per the Independent, she shared her excitement of exploring "the concepts and clichés people have about me and be self-deprecating." She adds, "It's as if I created an alter ego where I could do the most disgusting, grotesque things that you would never do in real life… and have permission to do that.”
