Jets Add Familiar Face to Rodgers New “Pack”
The New York Jets have added another former Green Bay Packer to the mix in wide receiver Randall Cobb.
According to reports, the Jets and Cobb are set to agree to a one-year deal that would reunite Cobb with former Packers teammates Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard, and newly signed right tackle Billy Turner.

Of course Cobb was Rodgers’ short list of players he wanted to see the Jets pursue, a list that included Lazard, Odell Beckham Jr, and Marcedes Lewis. Beckham of course signed with Baltimore. Lewis is rumored to be returning to Green Bay. The Jets already have four tight ends on the roster with C.J. Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert, and Zach Kuntz.
Cobb spent ten years in Green Bay, hauling in 532 passes for 6,316 yards and 53 touchdowns. Last season Cobb struggled, hauling in 34 balls for 417 yards and a touchdown. It will be interesting to see what Cobb’s addition means for either Denzel Mims or Corey Davis.
