Patriots Season Opener Postponed Due to Inclement Weather
Tonight’s game between the Somerset Patriots, New York Yankees Double-A affiliate and the Harrisburg Senators, Washington Nationals Double-A affiliate has been postponed due to pending inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark.
Opening night festivities, and championship ceremony will take place before Friday’s game at 6:35 p.m.

Somerset Patriots Begin 2023 Season tonight
The Somerset Patriots, New York Yankees Double-A affiliate open the 2023 season tonight at TD Bank Ballpark. This year’s squad features seven of the Yankees Top 20 prospects on the opening day roster, highlighted by outfielder Jasson Dominguez.
Dominguez came up to Somerset at the end of last season and was mighty impressive in the playoffs, cracking three homers and driving in 10. His two bombs in the clinching game against Erie was an exclamation point on the Patriots Double-A Eastern League title.
First pitch of tonight’s game is at 6:30 where the 2022 Eastern League title banner will be raised and rings handed out. Let’s meet some of the new Somerset Patriots for the 2023 season.
