Popular Chicken Chain Chooses 4th N.J. Location
A popular chicken chain is expanding its New Jersey roots by choosing its fourth location. Raising Cane’s, a southern-based chicken eatery, is set to open its fourth restaurant in the Garden State after approval was granted to build its home at 1860 Deptford Center Rd according to NJ Advance Media.
The new location will be taking the place of a former Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen near the Deptford Mall, which closed in 2019. An opening date for the Deptford restaurant has yet to be announced.
Raising Cane’s also has its eyes set on a couple more locations throughout the Garden State. The chicken spot is scheduled to open restaurants in Burlington, Cherry Hill, and Marlton. The three aforementioned locations don’t have exact opening dates at this time. However, they are set to be opened sometime this year. In addition to the four locations set to open in the Garden State, Raising Cane’s is also looking further ahead as they prepare to open about five more restaurants throughout the state in 2024, the publication reports.
The chicken eatery is known for its chicken fingers and signature Cane sauce. Its menu also offers chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, cole slaw, and Texas toast. For drinks, they offer lemonade, sweet tea, unsweet tea, half tea/lemonade combo, and an assortment of fountain drinks.
Raising Cane’s has over 600 locations nationwide. It opened its first location in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
