NETS 115 - CELTICS 105
With 7:23 to go in the second quarter, the Brooklyn Nets trailed the Boston Celtics 51-23. It looked bleak. It appeared that Boston was on its way to another romp against the Nets, as Brooklyn once again couldn't handle the best team in the East.
Oh, how things can change in an instant. The Nets suddenly put together an 9-0 run to cut the Boston lead to 18, and just like that it was all Nets from there.
For the rest of the night the Nets would outscore the Celtics 91-54, and they had Mikal Bridges to thank for it. Bridges, whom Brooklyn acquired in the Kevin Durant trade with Phoenix, was outstanding scoring 38 points, with 10 rebounds on 13-of-22 shooting. He was also 8-of-9 from the charity stripe.
Cam Johnson added 20 points. Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie each finished with 17.
For the record the Nets 28-point comeback was tied for the largest in franchise history, and the largest in the NBA this season.
