The latest slasher adaptation is titled Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey. A childhood favorite turned into a cold-blooded killer. However, the reception was mixed and now there's talk of a follow-up that will have five times the budget.

So with the reviews, talks of sequels, and budget increases. Let's go over everything we know now about Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey.

According to EW Blood and Honey was released this past week with mixed feedback earning a 4.5 on IMDb, and an even lower score on Rotten Tomatoes. Getting 9% from critics and 59% from the public. However, some audiences are disappointed. The Box office numbers show success. According to reports the horror film was shot for only about 100k and so far has brought in roughly 2 million worldwide.

Writer and Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield gave their comments about a sequel that is already in the works. It's with their hope that the follow-up budget will be about fives time greater than it was for this film. That would certainly help with some of the negative reviews which called the film "creatively lacking".

However, Winnie the Pooh isn't the only IP that Rhys has their attention on. A Bambi horror movie is a future plan alongside the Pooh 2 follow-up.

While it's interesting to see these types of Slashers, I am expecting a higher quality so it doesn't become just a senseless death film.  We'll have to wait and see, but until then Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey, is out at select theaters.

These New Jersey Applebee’s Will Be Serving Kids For Free!

It's been the talk of the town ever since a local Tinton Falls restaurant announced that they are banning kids under the age of ten. This caused outrage in the community with some rooting for or against the policy.

Now some of the largest chains of popular restaurant Applebee's. Are saying not to worry because those kids can come to their locations and eat for free.

From Patch.com the decision to ban kids ten and under came from a local restaurant and bar called Nettie's House of Spaghetti. An action that has many parents debating online as to if this action was the correct choice.  However, now other chains are taking the chance to try and profit from the controversy.

One such chain is Applebee's as Kurt Pahlitzsch, vice president of casual dining at Doherty Enterprise. Said kids and families will always be welcomed to his restaurants.

As such this month From Feb. 19 - Feb. 26 all children brought into a Doherty-owned Applebee's will be given a free meal. This deal can be obtained with the purchase of one adult entrée, and only applies to Doherty-owned Applebee's in New Jersey. With Presidents Day, approaching this seems like a good way to pump up business.

While remains unclear what will happen to the now infamous House of Spaghettis, it's interesting to see how a quick decision like this carries such an impact within the Garden State.

Though Kurt didn't choose a side in the press conference held earlier this week. Choosing to take the middle of the line he understands they may have a reason for their actions. But stands strong in believing families should be able to dine with their kids if they want.

To me, it sounds like a choice that is being blown out of proportion, I'm not sure what caused such a decision from the Tinton Fall's location, but at the end that's their business. A full list of the participating New Jersey restaurants can be found below.
