After falling behind by 11-points in the opening quarter, Rutgers Women’s Basketball could never recover and complete a comeback against Purdue, falling 68-54 at Jersey Mike’s Arena on Thursday.
Awa Sidibe was the lone Scarlet Knight to score in double figures, netting 16 points. The senior also recorded three rebounds and two assists.

Chyna Cornwell put together a solid performance, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds. Kaylene Smikle and Kai Carter also both collected nine points.
Rutgers is now 10-15 on the season, 4-9 in the Big Ten. The women return to action, Sunday at Iowa.
