Hobby Lobby To Open New N.J. Store
Hobby Lobby is expanding and is set to open a new store in New Jersey soon. The arts and crafts retailer recently leased a 58,952-square-foot space at the Neptune Plaza Shopping Center in Neptune, New Jersey, according to Asbury Park Press.
The Neptune Plaza Shopping Center is located at 2200 Route 66. Hobby Lobby will be joined by IHOP, Shop Rite, and Visionworks. The crafts store will be taking the empty spaces left by Marshalls and HomeGoods who left in 2020 according to the outlet.
“When Marshalls and Home Goods relocated in the market, it left considerable upside and opportunity to reposition the Neptune Plaza Shopping Center for the long-term ownership group we represent,” said Kevin Pelio, senior director of leasing at Azarian Realty Co., who represented the landlord in the lease transaction.
“Hobby Lobby was able to see that long-term vision and their future success at the property as well,” Pelio said in a statement. “We are slated to begin the oversight of the renovation and construction on this box in the next few weeks and look forward to Hobby Lobby’s highly anticipated opening.”
Hobby Lobby has 15 New Jersey stores and 988 stores nationwide.
There is no official announcement date for the opening of the new Neptune Hobby Lobby.
