FOX Sports NJ On The Track: Our Supercharged Entertainment Experience
First and foremost let me just sum it up in one word.. WOW. Recently a large-scale entertainment center like no other opened its doors during the holiday season officially becoming one of the largest indoor multi-level karting tracks in the world.
Of course, we’re talking about Supercharged Entertainment located in Edison NJ right off Route 1. This weekend saw massive crowds flood the newly opened business in order to check out all they have to offer, which includes axe throwing, arcades, a decently sizes bar and restaurant, and two multi-level indoor racing tracks that go each capable of running either a semi-pro circuit for minors and inexperienced drivers. That caps out at 35MPH or A pro circuit that reaches the max of 45MPH.
The lines were wrapped around the building, and with a max of 20 people allowed on each race, you really feel like you in the major leagues as you drift and speed down the track. The staff is always watching to keep things safe and to give out flags signaling to either slow down or that the race has finished. So of course we had to buckle up and try it for ourselves and boy was it an experience. For only $30 for a seven-minute race, we were able to have plenty of fun the only unfun part was when we were walking out the door to leave.
I’ve driven on other large to small-scale go-karts before and this is by far the top of my list, the staff are professional and friendly, the track itself feels like you’re on NASCAR, and ultimately the story behind the business itself is just amazing. We can’t wait to go back and maybe next time we’ll be in the top ten for overall lap times. You can check out Supercharged Entertainment and its story by clicking here.
The owners plan on adding an indoor skydiving experience to what is already a massive win for New Jersey and we couldn’t be more excited.
