In sports, it's often said that you never give up until the very end. We just saw exactly why that is the case in this past Sunday's game of the Indianapolis Colts versus the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings pulled off an absolutely dominating second half to make a 36-point comeback to win the game!

This not only secured the Vikings' spot as NFC North champions, but it was an amazing game to watch as the first two quarters for the Vikings were rough as the Colts' first official touchdown was after a blocked punt. It didn't get better either as fumbles and the Colts' great early game defense allowed them to gain a 17-point lead on the Vikings.

The second quarter didn't go any better as incomplete passes and interceptions just widened the lead the colt had to a resounding 33 points meanwhile the Vikings had yet to score once. I'm sure some fans of Minnesota were getting up to go home or just no longer paying attention by that point, but what came after halftime is now one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history trumping what sports fans know as the 1993 "Comeback" between the Bills and Oilers. This game also broke the record for the most comeback points in an NFL postseason which had been previously set by the Bills.

Even to add some insult to injury this is being reported as only the third game in NFL/AFL history in which a team with a lead of at least 30 points has failed to win. I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is, but one thing that can be said for sure is that the Vikings absolutely came to life in the second half.

Charging down the field and gaining 14 points in the second half compared to the Colts' 3 points. Though the real show happened in the final quarter in which the Vikings scored 22 points and shut down any attempt by the Colts to score. This sent the game into OT in which they scored and won 39-36.

Outside of Argentina's wild World Cup finish, the conclusion to the Raiders-Patriots game completely blew up social media, and for good reason. With the game tied at 24, all the Patriots had to do was let the clock run out and go into overtime.

Instead the Patriots employed the 'school yard' play when running back Rhamondre Stevenson flipped the ball back to wide receiver Jacoby Meyers, who tried to flip the ball back to quarterback Mac Jones, only he found the wrong Jones. He found Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones, who caught the ball, stiff-armed Mac Jones to the turf and rumbled to the end zone in one of the most bizarre, out-right hilarious finishes in NFL history.

The Reaction on Social media was wild.
