The New York Knicks got a much needed laugher, blowing away the Detroit Pistons by 30-points, while ending a two-game losing streak. Entering Tuesday's contest in Detroit, New York had lost four of five, dipping below two games under .500.
On Tuesday, the Knicks got the performance they needed from forward Julius Randle who led the way with 36 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
“He was super aggressive early and he got into a great rhythm,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said. “He always does a good job of moving without the ball and his teammates were searching him out tonight.”
Other top scorers include Jalen Brunson, R.J. Barrett, and Quentin Grimes all had 16 points a piece.
New York is now 3-0 this season in its head-to-head match-ups with the Pistons.
