The Villanova Wildcats will square off with Boston College at the Prudential Center in Newark on December 10 for the sixth annual Never Forget Tribute Classic. The event is a benefit for the children of 9-11 victims and their families.

The Wildcats and Eagles are old time Big East rivals, with Boston College now a member of the ACC. This will be Villanova’s third trip overall to the Never Forget Tribute Classic. Villanova is 2-0 all time in the event. This will be Boston College’s first ever appearance in the classic.

Thus far this season Villanova is 2-2 in its first year of the post-Jay Wright era. Boston College is 4-2 on the year. Neither team has played a conference game up to this point.

Doors are set to open at the Rock at 4 p.m. on December 10. Tip-off is at 5 p.m.  Tickets have been on sale since September.
