You might be watching The Watcher, but these Westfield New Jersey residents have their eyes on you. Netflix's The Watcher, inspired by an actual homein Westfield, N.J. (657 Boulevard to be exact) has residents fired up with fans who want to see the house in person.  Many fans are going out of their way to see the house from the trending series.

"I just thought I would come because of how interesting the story was," Pradeep Soni told NJ Advance Media. Soni drove 25 minutes from his home in Franklin to see it. "The house is nice though. It’s not creepy or anything."

Louise Evans, who now lives in the United Kingdom went to go visit the house while she was  visiting friends in New Providence.

"It’s just a really interesting story," she said. "I lived in New Providence when this was all happening, so now that I’m visiting friends here, I thought, 'let’s see the house.'"

"We are all concerned for the family living there now and their neighbors," Westfield resident Trish Dulinkski told NJ Advance Media after she witnessed a long line of cars waiting to get a glimpse of the house. "I cannot imagine how long it will be before people lose interest so the neighborhood can go back to normal, nor can I imagine how much mail the poor current owners will receive from crackpots all over the world."

Sabrina Scutt who lives around the corner from the house added, "I think the show doesn’t do wonders for placing our little, but amazing town in a negative light."

The show uses the home's actual address however Netflix did not film the show in Westfield but at a house in Rye, New York, the outlet reports.

Westfield Mayor Shelley Brindle nor the Westfield Police Department have commented on the recent attention the town has been getting due to the film.
