Rutgers Soccer Ties Ohio State 2-2
A night before Rutgers football took the field in Columbus, it was Rutgers soccer that got the weekend off right on the campus of Ohio State, earning a 2-2 tie against the Buckeyes.
Thomas DeVizio proved the game tying goal with only two seconds left in regulation to send RU to its fourth tie of the season. As it stands Rutgers and Ohio State are both 5-1-4 on the year, but Rutgers remains unbeaten in Big Ten play at 2-0-1.
M.D. Meyers scored the first goal of the game on an assist by Jason Bouregy at the 31:53 mark of the first half. Ohio State would answer with a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead, and it appeared they were on their way to a victory before DeVizio stunned the Buckeyes.
