For those hopeful Jets fans in the room, get excited (we presume). Zach Wilson is on the way back to the lineup this weekend when Gang Green hits the road for Pittsburgh to face the 1-2 Steelers.

Wilson has missed the past two months as he recovered from a torn meniscus and bone bruise in his right knee during a preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson was initially diagnosed to miss two to four weeks, and just before the regular season started against Baltimore, Head Coach Robert Saleh indicated that Wilson could have been ready for Week 1.

Then there was an about-face by Saleh, who later backpedaled and ruled Wilson out for an addition four weeks. Well, it's Week 4 and here we are with Wilson ready to return.

The biggest concern for the Jets and Wilson is the offensive line he has in front of him. The unit has been decimated by injuries in the early season with Mekhi Becton and Duane Brown both out for the long term. On Tuesday the Jets put left tackle George Fant on the Injury List. That means Connor McDermont -- a back-up center -- will likely be the starting left tackle on Sunday.

That's a very unsettling situation for Gang Green going into the game, especially with the franchise quarterback coming off a knee injury.

The good news for the Jets? Steelers all pro defensive end T.J. Watt is still out with a pectoral muscle injury.
