The LCS Playoffs are just a few days away from their final match, however one major update is that Danny the ADC from Evil Geniuses (EG) will not be playing in a pivotal game that could see EG take on Cloud9 (C9) in the final. How did this happen and what does this mean for the Lower Bracket Semifinals?

Well, the reason Danny’s real name Kyle Sakamaki is stepping away from the team’s starting roster revolves around his mental health. The 18-year-old has been playing his heart out for barely over a year in the LCS but has shown immense talent working alongside his fellow team members including his veteran support Vulcan. Danny is a key member of the team and has helped put EG where it is now at the top of the regular season with a win/loss ratio of 15-3. However, he is stepping away from it this weekend leaving the team in a tough spot.

Of course, his team and EG’s president Nicole LaPointe Jameson, wish Danny nothing but the best and commend him for not burning himself out and taking care of himself. This means that EG’s Academy ADC Kaori aka Muhammed Hasan ĹžentĂĽrk, will be moving up to the starting team for his first time ever in his LCS career. The 21 year old has been on their academy team since he came to the LCS from the TAL division based in Turkey. So while he has had experience before will he be able to meet the high expectations when the face 100 Thieves for the spot in the finals?

Looking at Kaori’s overall stats it’s likely he will try to play Jinx if he can help it, his KDA is not bad at 5.87, though going against FBI will be a brutal matchup, hopefully, Vulcan will be able to guide his ADC, otherwise, it’s up to the rest of the team to lead ahead in what will be an intense game. EG vs 100 Thieves will go live at 4 pm on September 10th keep up with all the latest Esports news.
