Twitch Streamer Allows His Chat To Name His Cat And The Result May Shock You

Naming your pets is an important process to any pet owner, however to one Twitch streamer he’s turned the process into a democratic one by allowing his Twitch chat to vote in an elimination bracket to decide his new cat's name. 

This isn’t the first time that Twitch streamer and Youtuber under the handle PayMoneyWubby also known as Dennis Richardson, has allowed his growing community to name a cat, with his older cat going by the shortened name HP, but the cat's full name is 'HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink Ready Printer.

Now with a new cat being welcomed into the home, once again Wubby has taken it to a vote with the community coming up with the names and voting each round until one is left. 

Some of the possible names were pretty strange or funny to downright disturbing, with 64 suggestions from chat and an audience of over 16,000 with only subscribers being eligible to vote, the winner was crowned with the name Halloumi, after the Cypriot cheese. With ‘Costco Hot Dog’ coming in second place. Of course, there were some more believable cat names like Muchkin though most of these names were quickly eliminated for more gag names like ‘catJAM’ an inside joke within the community. 

Who truly knows what goes behind the mind of Wubbert when coming up with ideas, but he is one of the tops paid streamers on Twitch so whatever he’s doing it’s clearly working for him. In all reality, he and his manager/significant other Alluux also known as Alexandria are happy with the choice, especially Alluux who chose Halloumi as her pick over the much-favored Costco Hot Dog. It’s only a matter of time before Halloumi will pop up on stream as Wubby has done with HP from time to time. The next time he needs to name an animal perhaps ‘Costco Hot Dog’ or the nickname Lil’ Glizzy given by chat will pop up again.
