The boxing world has been in a bit of an uproar lately and it’s all Jake Paul’s fault as the social media influencer turned celebrity boxer gears up for what may be his most challenging fight yet.

He faces the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman. So, will he be able to remain undefeated? Or is this where Jake ‘The problem child’ Paul gets put in timeout?

Jake Paul currently sits undefeated in his professional boxing career at 5-0 with him facing a wide range of opponents from Basketball player Nate Robinson to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

Now Hasim Rahman Jr. A current 12-1 boxer Is taking his shot to take Paul down, however, it’s going to be a tough challenge for both men. Some have criticized Paul over his career, calling him a Youtube boxer for never boxing against a professional in the sport.

He knocked out his last opponent Tyron Woodley, who was tough but a UFC fight nonetheless, now this will be the first time Paul is fighting someone with a history in boxing, however, there is a bit of weight discrepancy for Hasim as Jake Paul's fights as a cruiserweight while Hasim for his entire career has been a heavyweight with his last fight weighing in around 224 pounds.

Rahman Jr. claims that he will be heavily penalized in his cut for every pound he is over as per his contract. However, we are unsure if these claims have any legitimacy.

As for Paul, this is a major moment in his career as he was meant to fight the well-known boxer, Tommy Fury. However, due to issues with Tommy traveling from the UK the fight was canceled. If Jake is able to win this let alone knock Rasim out, it will be a clear message to his doubters that he isn’t all talk. Hasim has the height, weight, and experience over Jake Paul so stayed tuned for results after their fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, August 6th.

Until then many doubters like Dana White will continue to scrutinize Paul for his career, even picking apart Rahman Jr. after he was declared a TKO in his latest fight. Leading some to wonder why Paul isn’t fighting the person who knocked Hasim out or other tough challengers.

Though no matter what you may think of Jake Paul, love him or hate him. One thing is for sure, after this fight, there should be no more doubts. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the fight as we bring you the latest sports news and coverage of all your favorites as we head into what will be an exciting August.
