Jets and Giants Training Camp Dates Announced

Are you ready for some football!?!?!?!

Put down your drink, get out of the pool, because football season is indeed just around the corner. The New York Jets and Giants both revelated their training camp schedules, and it will include a joint-scrimmage between the two rivals on August 25 at the Quest Diagnostic Center in East Rutherford.

The joint practice between the Giants and Jets will precede their pre-season clash against one another on August 28, which will be an afternoon game at 1 p.m. (Usually preseason games are at night). It will also mark the first time the two squads will hold a joint training camp practice since 2005 when a brawl broke out between the two teams up at the University of Albany.

Rookies will report to training camp on July 19. The Giants and Jets begin full-squad training camps on July 27. The Giants will feature 11 practices that are open to the public. It's the first time since 2019 that practices are open to the public since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The first four dates of training camp, July 27, 28, 29, and 30 will all be open to the public for Giants fans to attend in East Rutherford.

The Jets will host seven practices that are open to the public, including a pair of joint practices with the Atlanta Falcons on August 19 and 20 at One Jets Drive in Florham Park, New Jersey.

The first open to the public practice for the Jets will be Saturday, July 30 at 10 a.m.
