Commuters trying to drive past exit 14 near Bridgewater on I-287 South have almost assuredly experienced delays. That is because a tractor trailer carrying fireworks ignited last night.

According to News 12 it is believed the truck was carrying “thousands of pounds” of fireworks. Currently two lanes of traffic are now moving on I-287 South. As of 8 a.m. at least one lane of traffic was closed.

Video of the unintended fireworks show was captured on video and later shared by News 12. There has been no report of any injuries.
