Somerset Patriots fans are going to get a close look at Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman.

Chapman, who is coming off the Injury List from an Achilles injury is slated to pitch at Somerset this weekend when the Patriots host the Yardgoats. Both the Patriots and Yardgoats are battling for the first half title in the Northeast Division of the Eastern League.

Chapman was a perfect 9-for-9 in save opportunities this year, despite a rather high ERA of 3.86 in 17 games before getting injured.

Since landing on the IL on May 22, Clay Holmes has taken over as the closer and has shined. At one point Holmes went 31-1/3 innings without giving up a run. Holmes currently owns a microsopic 0.55 ERA with 11 saves and a 4-0 record.

Aaron Boone indicated last week that he could see a situation where both Chapman and Holmes close out games, although Chapman would get the bulk of the opportunities.
