Manchester, New Hampshire – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (28-35) defeated the Somerset Patriots (41-22) by the score of 5-1 on Sunday afternoon to snap Somerset’s six-game winning streak.

New Hampshire got the scoring started in the first on a two-run single by Will Robertson.

Robertson added another run in the third on an RBI groundout.

Somerset’s lone run on the day came on a throwing error in the fifth that allowed Elijah Dunham to score.

Cam Eden singled home Spencer Horwitz and Robertson in the eighth for the final two runs of the game.

Andrew Bash (3-3) picked up the win with three innings pitched, allowing an unearned run on a hit and two strikeouts. Will Warren (2-2) suffered the loss after he allowed three runs on three hits and five strikeouts in five innings of work.

The 2022 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue at home with a 7:05 pm game against the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) on Tuesday evening at TD Bank Ballpark.
