Manchester, New Hampshire - The Somerset Patriots (39-21) came back from a four-run deficit to score 11 unanswered runs and defeat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (27-33) by a score of 11-4 on Thursday night. New Hampshire got the scoring started in the bottom of the second inning on a Phil Clarke (4) two-run blast.LJ Talley (4) followed with another two-run home run in the bottom of the third, giving the Fisher Cats a 4-0 lead.Max Burt put the Patriots on the board with an RBI double in the top of the fifth, before Burt was doubled home by Oliver Dunn to cut the deficit to 4-2 in the fifth.

Chad Bell put the Patriots within a run with an RBI single in the sixth, scoring Elijah Dunham. Burt then tied the ballgame at four with an RBI single of his own, scoring Jesus Bastidas.

The game remained tied until the top of the ninth, when Michael Beltre laced an RBI double to give the Patriots a 5-4 lead. A Brandon Lockridge RBI single, Dunham RBI double, and Jeisson Rosario two-run double followed, before Bastidas (7) capped off the seven-run ninth inning with a two-run home run, giving the Patriots an 11-4 victory.

Matt Minnick (3-2) earned the win for Somerset, allowing no runs on one hit in two innings of relief. Parker Caracci (1-3) took the loss, allowing seven runs on five hits in 0.1 innings. The 2022 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on the road on Friday with a 7:05 PM game versus the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
