According to reports via NJ.com, the Rutgers football team has dismissed wide receiver Tahjay Moore after he was arrested on a charge of simple assault on Sunday in New Brunswick. The incident was first reported on Monday by NJ.com.
According to that same report, Rutgers did not release a further statement. Moore played in only one game over the past two seasons. According to reports, “Moore was a three-star prospect out of New Brunswick High School, where he was coached by former Rutgers linebacker Nate Harris. Moore was a member of the Scarlet Knights’ 2020 recruiting class, the first class of Schiano’s return to Piscataway.”
Rutgers will host the Spring Scarlet-White game on Friday, April 22 at SHI Stadium.
