NCAA Men’s Final Four Set with an ACC Clash
A few weeks ago Duke Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski quieted a packed house at Cameron Indoor Stadium and told those in attendance that the day’s result, a 94-81 loss to North Carolina in Coach K’s final home game, was an “unacceptable result,” vowing the season wouldn’t end in like this.

Three weeks later, Krzyzewski’s Blue Devils have heeded his every word, and Duke is in the Final Four, and against … guess who … North Carolina. Oh, the irony.
Duke and North Carolina will meet for the third time this season, and unbelievably it will be the first time the two Blue Bloods of college basketball will ever meet in the NCAA Tournament.
Coach K already passed John Wooden with the victory, as his Blue Devils’ will make their 13th appearance in the Final Four under his stewardship. Can he keep the momentum going for one last run at a title, or will North Carolina once again leave a sour taste in the mouths of Duke fans and alum everywhere. It’s going to be fantastic.
On the other side of the Final Four, Kansas and Villanova will meet. This is the fourth Final Four for Villanova Head Coach Jay Wright, and the last two times he took the Wild Cats this far, they won it all in 2016 and 2018.
Villanova is now 20-3 in the last six NCAA Tournaments.

The Wild Cats won a defensive slugfest against Houston on Saturday, 50-44. Meanwhile Kansas pounded the Miami Hurricanes with a 47-15 second half to beat them by 26 points. The Jay Hawks have won nine in a row heading into what should be a classic Final Four match-up.
