The New York Jets find themselves in an AFC East battle with the Miami Dolphins for the rights to soon-to-be-former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

According to Connor Hughes of the Athletic both sides have made similar offers, and it is up to Hill to make a choice.  Word is Hill is looking for a contract extension. According to Ralph Vacchiano, the Jets would be willing to give it to him. Vacchiano also reports the Jets and Dolphins aren't the only teams in on Hill.

Hill is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the sport. He has over 1200 yards receiving in three of the last four years, and was considered one of Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets. Hill became expendable when the Chiefs singed ex-Steeler wide out JuJu Smith Schuster.

Jets fans have implored the team find a wide receiver to help Zach Wilson, but so far have not been able to sign any of the key free agents at that position. It is all up to Hill, who could chose the warm weather of Miami and opportunity to play with Tua Tagovailoa over the Jets.
